TATA Motors will introduce Altroz in December, know what will be the price
Tata showcased the Altrose at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
Tata Motors (TATA Motors) will showcase its upcoming Ultroz car in December, which will be launched again in January. Last year, the company launched the Harrier SUV during this time. The Altrose is Tata’s first premium hatchback car, according to Cardekho.com. Which will compete in the Indian market with Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai Elite i20.
Tata showcased the Altrose at the Geneva Motor Show this year. The company called it the ‘Geneva Edition’. However, the Ultros launched in India will be slightly different from its Geneva edition.
This will be typical
Talking about the engine, the option of two petrol and one diesel engine will be given in Tata Ultrose. These include a 1.2-liter turbo petrol with Tata Nexon, a 1.4-liter diesel and a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with Tiago. However, these engines can be offered with different power / torque outputs in Ultros. Also these engines will be upgraded to BS6 emission norms.
The manual gearbox was given in the Geneva Edition of Tata Ultrose. But it can also be lowered with an AMT (automatic-manual transmission). Tata’s soon-to-be-launched hatchback will come with premium features like dual color dashboard, floating touchscreen infotainment system, automatic AC, rear AC vent, cruise control and steering mounted audio control. Its price is expected to be between 5.5 lakh to 9 lakh rupees. If this happens, the Ultraz can give a tough competition to other cars in the segment.
