Trains design the AC coaches in the middle and the tradition has been going on ever since.

Indian express and superfast trains operated by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, AC coaches are always installed in the middle and general coaches are back and forth. The question is why AC coaches are in the middle.

Trains design the AC coaches in the middle and the tradition has been going on ever since.

Why are there no AC coaches in front or behind the train. Is there a technical reason behind them being in the middle, or did the trainers who designed the trains design the AC coaches in the middle and the tradition has been going on ever since.

First of all, understand the importance of AC coach / Why is there a box of AC in Indian Railways?

In the process of finding the answer to our question, first of all we have to understand the important of the air conditioner coach of the train. It has a value of its own because the passengers riding in this coach have a value.

As AC coaches have more facilities, their fares are also higher and traveling in AC coaches is done by people who have the ability to spend more than normal fare.

Certainly such people are not common people at all. They lack time. Therefore, their coach comes at such a place where AC coach passengers can reach it easily.

Crowd is managed on the platform by placing the AC coach in between other coaches.

One of the major reasons for putting AC coaches in the middle is the management of congestion on the platform. Normal passenger coaches are at the front and back of the train.

In this way the crowd splits into two parts and the middle section of the platform is left slightly empty. This is the best management to save people in an emergency situation, get them off the train and control the situation.

In Indian Railways, AC coaches are not placed in the middle of the vehicle because they are very heavy. A big reason behind this is that General coaches are fitted back and forth, due to which the crowd gets butt in front and back and premium

Passengers can comfortably get into their boxes and because of this there is not much mobilization of people in the middle of the station, so that in any emergency situation, the vehicle can be emptied comfortably.
